26/27 season will have a few changes. Here’s what’s been happening.

We’ve attracted a few new players to the club which is what we will need. This season we have a 1st division Sheffield feathers team and have entered a team in the 4th division Sheffield feathers. Our hope is that we can stay in the top flight and move up out of the 4th division.

In the Barnsley league we have one team in Barnsley 1 and a team in Barnsley 3. Again we aim to stay in the top division.

We continued to play over the long hot summer. Some night were very tough going and many a gallon of fluid was consumed. We trialed different types of shuttles. The consensus was that the hybrid shuttles take some getting use to. They fly a bit slow and it was difficult to time some shots. We also tried a cheaper version of shuttle. The flight of these was very inconsistent and we struggled to play a good game with them. The conclusion was to stick with what we know best, which is what we have done (at least for this year).

So good luck teams.
