Bessacarr A played their first away match of the season against Staincross B.

The Bessacarr team included Andy W and Gus as first couple, Will and Mark S, second couple and making their Bessacarr A debut, Adam and Raj.

Staincross put out three strong pairs. The hall is a great place to play but the speed of the shuttles was fast.

The night went Staincoss’s way, but newbies Adam and Raj beat the Staincross third pair and Will and Mark beat (with the help of the flying shuttles) the Staincross second pair.

Even though we lost 7-2, the night was encouraging. Roll on the next match.
