Bassacarr smashed Manvers 8–1, powered entirely by a squad of South Asian superstars and one captain (me) who turned up late, forgot his phone and then had to ask the Manvers lads to help tie up the net like it was a badminton club night. Despite the chaos, the team played like heroes, scored for fun and somehow made diversity look like a secret weapon. Another fun-filled Bassacarr special… and yes, I’m still taking full credit.
