Bessacarr B delivered another commanding performance on home turf, overpowering Wrenthorpe A with an emphatic 8–1 victory to keep their unbeaten run alive in Division 2.

From the first serve, and with home advantage, Bessacarr asserted control, winning the opening eight games on the card. While many matches were wrapped up in straight sets, the rallies told a different story with many of the rallies highly contested by both teams.
Despite the score line, Wrenthorpe fought hard throughout, pushing several games. Their breakthrough eventually came in the final fixture on the card where their pairing dug deep to clinch a thrilling three-set win: 14–21, 21–16, 17–21. It was a well-earned point and a testament to their perseverance. Thank you Wrenthorpe for your friendly competitive spirit, its what makes Barnsley Badminton league so good
